With unprecedented access to their newsroom, documentary film-maker ANDREW ROSSI profiles The New York Times over a year as it struggles to survive the most critical period for media in generations. Their media desk is publishing material from WikiLeaks and at the same time encouraging its writers to connect more directly with their audience. With newspapers closing down and the internet becoming our main news source it shows how one of the world’s leading papers faced the challenge, and raises questions of what might be at stake for democracy.
PAGE ONE will also play at the Cinema at 7.30pm on Friday 4th Nov.
